Definition of iPod
What is an iPod exactly? The definition of iPod is a small, electronic digital music playing device – also known as an MP3 player. The iPod is used to play large amounts of music which can be played back at an exceptional quality, far better than that of previous music playing products such as the CD-player or walkman.
Whilst the definition of iPod is a type of MP3 player it was most definitely not the first MP3 playing device to be invented on the market it was the first to combine simplicity with functionality and a bit of creative flare to create a digital music device that would go on to revolutionize the MP3 market. Apple also combined this with a super clever marketing campaign that attracted the perfect demographic and made the iPod an instant success.
